Colon Hydrotherapy

Colon hydrotherapy is the irrigation of the colon with purified water using disposable nozzles and hygienic equipment in a comfortable setting in order to evacuate the contents of the bowel. Colon hydrotherapy is often referred to as colonics, high colonics, colon therapy or colon irrigation.

Throughout history the practice of colon cleansing has been used to meet the medical needs of people everywhere. In fact, the age-old practice of colon cleansing was recorded as early as 1500 B.C. in an Egyptian document called the “Eber Papyrus”.

About the Colon Hydrotherapist

Colon Hydrotherapist Jennifer Evenson received her training from the Colon Care Hydrotherapy School of Chicago, as well as certification from the International Association of Colon Hydrotherapy. Applying her experience and B.S. in Marketing and Management from Viterbo University, Jennifer has created a wellness program in her practice that incorporates the essence of mind, body connection. She is also a candidate for a Masters degree from Clayton College of Natural Health in the Doctor of Natural Health program.
